VARCHASVA-2010‘VARCHASVA’ is the intercollegiate techno-cultural fest of SJB Institute Of Technology. SJBIT believes in “Person-culture fit” and “ Person–job fit” which are the two important qualities needed in a student. The former is match between personal beliefs and values of an individual whereas the latter is the fit between the job challenges (technical and leadership requirement) and the achievement orientation of a person. To cater this need, SJBIT will emphasize on conducting value added programs to its students.
In this view, ‘VARCHASVA’, has evoloved as a platform to give exposure to new and hidden talents within the younger minds. ‘VARCHASVA’ was started in the year 2005, with a vision of providing a platform to both young and creative minds to showcase their talents.
True to its Sanskrit meaning of "PRESTIGE", 'VARCHASVA' has been one of the best college festivals in Bangalore that has attracted students of 60 different engineering colleges to exhibit their talents, implement their technical skills and show their connection with culture.
